#SBBC - 3 - Travelling

What items do I bring when travelling?

I have a tendency to bring everything with me, I get so worried I might need something and so I end up having to bring everything including the kitchen sink with me! As for make up, when staying over night somewhere I will take the following:

At the moment I am using a black chain mail bag from a Leighton Denny kit

Sleek - Bad Girl Eyeshadow Palette - (review)
Lots of dark shadows in here along with a good staple black, suprised I'm not hitting pan on any of these yet.

ELF - Tone Correcting Powder / Complexion Perfection - (review)
I use this to set my foundation, it can leave a bit of a white cast on your face if you apply too much but nothing a powder brush can't buff off. Also I preferred the name Complexion Perfection, even if it was a bit of a mouthful. I have gone through so many of these, it is a must have product.

ELF - Studio Blush - Berry Merry - (review)
This blusher is buildable which means it can be worn during the day or for a night out. I really like this because of that, also is seems to work well in my skintone.

Jelly Belly - Lip Balm - (review)
As well as a nail polish addiction I also have a thing about lipbalm, I have to have one or more with me at all times. If I don't I seem to malfunction! This one smells really nice, cherry, it is more of a gel formula than usual lipbalms in a jar / pot.

ELF - Mineral Face Primer - (review)
This is a must again for me, it keeps my foundation in place and helps to stop foundation sinking in to pores and fine lines. I have oily / combination skin which does make foundation not last as long as it should. This is another product which I have gone through numerous bottles of now. The packaging is now a vacuum bottle rather than a traditional pump bottle which means you don't waste any.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - True Ivory 103 - (review)
Foundation stays put for a long time, medium coverage. Really glad they brought out a lighter shade too as Ivory isn't quite pale enough for me.

Maybelline - Volume Express - (review)
Separates, builds volume, can layer it up for a more dramatic look. You can use it on lower lashes if you are careful too, and no flaking.

Urban Decay - Primer Potion - (review)
Really like this one, it was the original eyeshadow primer and while others are cheaper and equally as good I won't be throwing this out without using it all up first. It lasts for a very long time too. Again the packaging has changed, it now comes in a squeezy tube so you don't waste any. Stops eye shadow from creasing.

Maybelline - Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner - (review)
As the name suggests this eyeliner lasts for a long time, even on the waterline which proves its worth.
